First of all, wow! THANK YOU, to everyone who has favorite my latest deviation. I thought the image was very good but certainly didn't expect it to receive the kind of success that it did. It earned me some new watchers and all of the support inspires me to keep upping my game and go out to take better photos. :)
Besides that, there isn't much to say. I'll try to thank each and every person who has recently watched me or favorited my work, but there's a lot to go through so it'll take a bit of time. Well, first things first.
After getting laid off last November I got a new job at my college. It pays decent for right now, and I have a budget and financial plans for the next several months, so hopefully I can stick with all of it and come out alive, heh.
I have not been able to take as many photos as I'd like because I've been so busy. I try to do railfanning but I don't exactly live in the right spot for that so it is a bit difficult! Whenever I'm not busy, the few areas I can railfan are completely silent. Shame, but not much you can do but grin and bear it until you get a day off to go do some fanning again.

So I spent the weekend in Bradenton with good people, and it was loads of fun! Saturday was rainy but doable...yesterday (Sunday, 25th June '12) was another story!!
Driving home was sure a trip, first of all! Going over Tampa's Sunny-shine Skyway Bridge was almost impossible; at one point I couldn't even see the road in front of me! I was dropping people home and hitting some nasty puddles, but I made it home before the storm got worse! I drove through my old neighborhood today and saw a lot of shit! The Clearwater Thresers stadium..aka Bright House Networks Field...is completely filled with water! I couldn't get any of my own pics but
